1. Inhaler Use:

Patient: Hi, I'm here to pick up my inhaler refill.

Patient: Sure, it's John Smith, and my date of birth is June 15th, 1985.
Pharmacy Assistant: Thank you, Mr. Smith. Now, have you been using this inhaler before?
Patient: Yes, but I'm still a bit unsure about how to use it properly.
Pharmacy Assistant: No problem. Let me walk you through it. First, shake the inhaler well, then exhale fully, put the mouthpiece in your mouth, and press down the canister as you breathe in slowly and deeply. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then exhale slowly. Remeber to rinse your mouth with water afterward to prevent any potential side effects.
Patient: Got it, thanks for the guidance.

2. Antihistamine Side Effects:

Patient: Hi, I'm picking up my antihistamine prescription.

Patient: Yes, but I've been experiencing some strange symptoms lately, and I'm not sure if they're related.
Pharmacy Assistant: It's possible they could be side effects. Common side effects of antihistamines include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. However, if you experience any more severe symptoms like difficulty breathing or swelling, you should seek medical attention immediately.
Patient: Okay, I'll keep an eye out for those symptoms. Thank you for letting me know.
